 I do custom orders, usually horses, to match any photo you wish.  I also do custom  wooden memory albums with any name you wish painted on it and a miniature intarsia, such as a deer, fish, turkey or horsehead.  I reserve the right to reject any order for any reason, but will try to comply with any reasonable request.

Hi There!   Thanks for stopping by to look at my wood art pieces..I do quality intarsia work at affordable prices.  For those of you who don't know what intarsia is.. my work is made from mostly 3/4 inch thick western red cedar, with pine, aspen, oak, catalpa, walnut and poplar accents. Intarsia is a 2 1/2 dimensional art form, making a scene, or animal.  The grain of the wood is used to show the direction of fur, feathers, or whatever.  Each piece is cut on a scroll saw, shaped  and sanded by handed and assembled to produce a beautiful wall hanging.

Intarsia is my very favorite art form, although I also do stained glass, usually combining it with intarsia, for a stunning effect.  I also do some shelves and some limited fretwork.  I also have started designing natural gemstone jewelry and, thanks to a certain friend, I am designing and sewing custom showmanship and horsemanship jackets.  It's not as if i have nothing else to do.. I have 4 horses, 5 cows and 38 goats to care for, as well as cats, dogs, and a husband. 

Belowis one of my newest pieces, an owl designed by Judy Gale Roberts.  This piece is all natural, containing at least 5 different colors of wood, all western red cedar.  It is approx. 17" by 26".
